This is a great sunscreen! Reef safety is very important to me, and I won't wear any screens that aren't certified. The sunscreen has the consistency of lotion and goes on very smoothly. It takes about 30 seconds to work it into my skin, then I really don't notice it. It doesn't make my skin feel excessively greasy either, which is a nice plus. Overall it's a great sunscreen and I would recommend it to others!

SPF 50 with pure clean ingredients

I am a big fan of Tallow skincare products and I was excited to try this mineral sunscreen SPF 50. It applies and feels like a lightweight moisturizer on the skin. My skin feels very hydrated and there is no white cast or residue on the skin. I really like that this is a sunscreen that has skin moisturizing properties with clean natural ingredients. My skin is sensitive and I am not at all reactive. It is very gentle to my skin. Slight non-overpowering fragrance from the natural ingredients. Good price point for 3.4 Oz tube.

Seems ok - sinks in quickly

This sunscreen has a very light scent, but it is very beachy scented. It rubs in quickly with no white cast. It has beef tallow, which will be a turn off for some people but doesn’t bother me. It’s winter here so I can’t really speak to its sun protection, but I tend to use sunscreen as a back up and cover up in the sun a lot anyway!The tamper seal is removable (and can go back in after using), which I don’t love. My face loves this sunscreen. I am a stickler about keeping my face protected from the sun. I am 60 years old and still have nice skin. My Mom taught my early on the importance of protecting your face. It's really hard to find a spf 50 that blends into your skin without feeling heavy or sticky. Sages of the Ages does exactly that. It's a lotion that applies like a moisturizer . It absorbes into my skin without feeling oily or heavy and does not leave any type of residue on my skin. I live where it's cold right now, but still find it important to apply sunscreen before beginning my day. Being able to use this on my face daily has been incredible. I follow my normal skin care routine and apply this as a last step before makeup. My face feels protected all day without that sunscreen feel and absolutely no irritation to my skin or eyes. It's a simple easy step in my morning routine. I will make sure to order another tube when it gets closer to summertime to keep in my beach bag. I don't know if it's the Tallow, but this stuff is incredible. I liked it so well that I already ordered an additional one as a gift and sent to a friend who lives in a hot sunny area year round. I included a picture so you could see what it looks like and how well it absorbes into my skin. It only takes seconds to absorb, no wait time.100% recommend.

Quality sunscreen lotion for face and neck

I have skin that's very sensitive to sun and therefore wear sunscreen year round on my face and neck in (and of course over more exposed skin in the summer). Given that, I try to stay away from sunscreens with lots of chemicals. This sunscreen goes on like a face or body lotion. It's not thick and sticky like lots of high SPF sunscreens I've tried. At least for me, it hydrates (a must for dry winters particularly) without irritating my skin at all. It also doesn't have that 'sunscreen smell'. In fact, there's no discernible smell that I notice. It is a bit pricey, but it does seem like a quality product. I would recommend it.
