Shilajit Resin 30g Jar Gold Grade | Organic Natural Mineral Extract|MCF

I've had capsules, but I hadn't tried shilajit resin before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a deep black-brown resin with a pungent smoky, earthy smell. Ideally, one mixes the resin into a beverage to drink. I've found that the easiest way for me to take the resin is in hot water, like a tea. The flavor like this reminds me a lot of Lapsang Souchong smoked tea. It's not my favorite, but it's easy to get it down.

While some supplements are not recommended to be taken with hot water, as it decreased efficacy, shilajit is just fine hot or cold. However you take it, just know the taste is also pretty powerful. I don't want to say it's disgusting, because it isn't. It's just a bit of a shock to a western palate.

I've been taking shilajit for a while in capsule form, and have noticed a difference in my mobility and cognition (I have MS). While this resin concentrate I'm sure would work similarly, I do think I'll probably stick with the capsules for convenience.

I've been using shilajit for about a year now, and I like the effects of it. No one likes the taste of shilajit. It's supposed to taste like tar and asphalt and acrid horror. Generally it's solid at room temperature, but will turn to liquid when warmed. It dissolves easily in water, leaving behind no grit. And it gives me that welcomed energy boost I've become accustomed to.

I find it's easier to take shilajit when it's cold - form it into a ball and swallow it like a pill, followed by a glass of water. There's less horrible flavor, and will dissolve in your stomach.

I have no concerns about the quality or authenticity of this shilajit, and would buy it again.
